OVERVIEW A young girl proves to herself and her respected grandfather ,she is a leader .

OPINION A poetic rendering of the Witi Ihimaera  book. The dialogue is majorly untouched and this is due to Niki Caro’s delicate handling of the story. Castle –Hughes is a talented actress.
